These heroes from the first Darkest Dungeon game weren’t used in the second one.
Darkest Dungeon 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Darkest Dungeon, a dark rogue-like game with a lot of difficult gameplay that has won over a huge number of fans. The game builds on the popularity of its predecessor, and some of the characters from Darkest Dungeon are in it.
Even though Darkest Dungeon 2 has some well-liked new characters, like The Runaway, it’s important to note that some of the most popular characters from the first Darkest Dungeon are clearly absent. Here are some heroes from the first Darkest Dungeon who are not in Darkest Dungeon 2.
Abomination

Abomination is one of the heroes in Darkest Dungeon who is the most difficult to understand. Players have to get good at both of his forms: his normal form and his Abomination form. His Abomination form is very powerful, but it gives the rest of the party Stress. This makes him very hard to control. Players should usually use the Abomination in his human form to stun enemies and only change him when they need to do a lot of damage.
Unfortunately, his move set might be hard to adapt to the way skills are unlocked in Darkest Dungeon 2. In Darkest Dungeon, players won’t have to find Shrines to gain his skills like they did in Darkest Dungeon 2. Instead, they can use all of his skills right away. Due to how complicated he is and the fact that he needs two models, he is one of the heroes who is least likely to come back in Darkest Dungeon 2. But fans who want a bigger task would still like him to join.
Arbalest

In Darkest Dungeon, the Arbalest’s main role is to deal steady damage to the back line with her long-range attacks. Darkest Dungeon 2 is missing this job, and it would be great if she came back. The Highwayman, who has a wider range of ranks, is the most similar hero to him in the game right now.
She is also a secondary healer who can help healers who aren’t as good or steady. The Arbalest is a good choice for players who don’t want to bring a main healer and instead want multiple heroes who can keep the team’s health up while still doing good damage. In Darkest Dungeon 2, there are a lot of characters that can take care of themselves. The Arbalest would be a great hero to bring with you so you don’t have to bring a main nurse.
Crusader

The Crusader is one of the figures from Darkest Dungeon that people are most excited to see. The Crusader is one of the first heroes that players can try in Darkest Dungeon, and he is very well liked by the community. He can be a tank, a healer for Stress, or a person who stuns enemies. He is also great in The Ruins against monsters from the Unholy.
Unfortunately, Darkest Dungeon 2 already has a lot of people who do front-line damage, which is his niche. This means that other jobs will probably be given more attention than him. Fans still want him to come back because he is the face of Darkest Dungeon.
Houndmaster

Many fans can’t wait for Darkest Dungeon 2 to bring back the Houndmaster. The Houndmaster can really do everything. He is great at fighting aggressively, doing a lot of damage over time with Bleeds, and helping the team in important ways. The Houndmaster is a good character for players to bring into The Warrens because it does extra damage to Beasts.
The Houndmaster is a useful class that helps the rest of the group. He can heal both his own and the group’s Stress and mark enemies as targets. Darkest Dungeon 2 would benefit greatly from the Houndmaster’s ability to hit at all levels. He can be changed to fit any party, and he would be a great addition to Drift Boss game.
Musketeer

The Musketeer was added to Darkest Dungeon as free DLC. It is a reskin of the Arbalest. She does have her own special items and stories, but she hasn’t had much time to stand out as a character on her own.Darkest Dungeon 2 would be a great way for her to get the attention she deserves.
She would be a great addition to the game’s cast because it needs more characters who can deal damage from far away. The Shrine system in Darkest Dungeon 2 would be a great way to add to her story as well.
Shieldbreaker

Shieldbreaker is an add-on character for the first Darkest Dungeon, and it’s clear that a lot of thought went into how she looks. She has a well-thought-out history that would fit nicely into Darkest Dungeon 2’s Shrine system. Her style of play is very fun and different, and she uses a lot of different tools like Guard, Stealth, and Block.
She is also one of the more flexible heroes in Darkest Dungeon because she can do damage from any rank. Because of this, she would be a great addition to Darkest Dungeon 2.Many of the game’s main bosses require heroes to hit multiple ranks and deal with being moved around a lot, which Shieldbreaker can do with ease.
Darkest Dungeon 2 can now be played on PC.
